ENLISTED LIFE - Living Quarters
We Want You to Feel At Home
As an enlisted member new to the Air Force, your accommodations will feel a lot like a college dorm. You'll have your own private room that you can personalize to your tastes, including a private bath, full-sized refrigerator and computer desk. In the common rooms, you can catch the game on the big screen TV, hang with your friends or cook meals in the kitchen.

Homes on base are custom designed to meet the needs of growing families. Most residences feature attractive interiors, updated appliances, multiple bedrooms and baths, and grassy backyards. Best of all, they're often within walking distance of schools, stores, playgrounds, and community pools.

If you live off base, you'll have a housing allowance that will probably cover most of your rent. Many single enlisted members also find roommates to help share the rent on a bigger place.

No matter where you choose to live, you'll probably find yourself spending a lot of time on base, taking advantage of the tax-free shopping, discounted food and free medical care that will help lower your overall cost of living.
